Blog Response
I believe my summary shows what the author is saying in the article. It hints most of the main points in not all. The time put in to this summary was sufficient enough but I didn't get all requirements into the summary witch I had enough time to do but overlooked. I would agree the a B on this summary. The information is all there but I understand that I missed a couple things. The challenging part for me was gaining the right information from the article.

Behrens Writing
The six steps of the Behrens writing process are understanding the talk, gathering data, invention, drafting, revising, and editing. Comparing my writing style with this process they do not match up. I tend to skip a lot of the data gathering and write from my own thoughts and experiences. Out of the six steps, understanding the task is the easiest to me. Like most people reading the instructions and asking a few questions on the topic are simple. The most difficult part of this process for me is revising and editing. I know what I want to say in my essay's, but its hard for me to correct things since I dont see them as well as others would.

My Bio
My name is Erik Tharp and I am from Oakwood, IL. My birthday is July 7, 1994. I attended Oakwood High School before coming to Olivet. I participated in track, cross country, some baseball, student council, was on homecoming and prom court, and received the SAR award. At Olivet I am on the track team and plan to get involved in more clubs. I have one brother and one sister that are 6 and 3 years older than me. I found Olivet through my youth pastor and a few friends that are Olivet alumni.
